Description
WINTER
Ijzige kou, eenzaamheid, honger, en de dood. Dat was voor het overgrote deel van de menselijke geschiedenis wat winter inhield. Mensen waren overgeleverd aan de genade van moeder natuur, en zij maakte de mens nietig en kwetsbaar. Tegenwoordig merken velen van ons hier weinig meer van, maar voor velen in de geschiedenis kwam deze ellende elk jaar weer terug.
Het Havenstad Collectief neemt u mee naar deze tijd. Met Schuberts Winterreise, Vivaldi’s Winter en Rachmaninoffs Prelude in Cis-klein horen we fragmenten uit het leven van deze componisten, en wat de winter bij hen losmaakte.
Het Collectief speelt eigen arrangementen van deze muziek. Schuberts Winterreise zal gezongen worden door Luka den Boer.
