Unplug4kids family festival vs 1.0 (Parents and Children 0-14)

Fun activity packed family festival celebrating all things UnPlugged!

DISCLAIMER: PLEASE NOTE THAT CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY PARENTS. THIS IS AN INTERACTIVE ACTIVITY BASED FESTIVAL FOR BOTH CHILDREN AND PARENTS TO HAVE FUN TOGETHER. UNPLUG WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHILDREN.

We are not anti-tech, however, if you use a smartphone during an activity and get spotted by our UnPlug police you will get hit with a squeaky hammer and asked for a donation to our charity partner!

Price example for young family of 3 - €20 Early Bird (two adults plus child under 3) - See details below.

We will have the following activity zones:

1) Nature/Risk - Chopping/Sawing wood, bugs in a barrel and creating with mud by Nature Kindergarten (Outside)

2) Creativity/Sensory/Build - Recreate workshops building stuff with recycled products by ReCreate

3) Dance and movement - fun dance workshops with Jane Shortall

4) UnPlug Science - Parent/kids fun tips on using tech in a more healthy way to promote focus, calm and encourage face to face relationships by UnPlug

We will also have:

  • Family disco - from KidsDisco (the team who DJ at Soul Kids at Body & Soul and The Electric Picnic)
  • Downtime zone - Food/Coffee from SPORTSCO Cafe and free massage for parents (10 minute massage. 36 slots available).
  • Free healthy food bags for all children 3-14 (including samples from Fyffes, Glenisk and Innocent)

Charity partner is ISPCC Childline. All proceeds from facepainting and our UnPlug police will go to the Childline campaign.

Venue is wheelchair friendly.

Prices (includes all activities excluding food/drink):

Children 3 and younger are free

Early Bird tickets €10 per person (first 100 tickets)

Family Early Bird ticket €30 (two adults, two children) (first 20 tickets)

Early Bird Extra kids (additional to family ticket) €5 each

Full price ticket €15 per person

Full price family ticket €50 (two adults, two children)

Full price extra kids (additional to family ticket) €10 each

One week before the event (22/8) prices will go up and we will have limited tickets on the door: family ticket €65, on door individual ticket €20.

FAQ

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

    The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

  • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

    The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

  • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

    If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

    Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event.
