'The Dubliners Dilemma' returns for a special once-off Christmas performance to Bewleys where it was first seen on Bloomsday 2013. Declan Gorman's internationally acclaimed one-man show has since traveled Ireland and the globe, from Moscow to Mayo to Oslo. It captures publisher Grant Richards as he re-reads James Joyce's 'Dubliners' manuscript 8 years after rejecting it, and wondering if it might be safe to publish it now in 1914. Joyce's brilliant evocations of a Dublin of wide-eyed children, rascals, perverts, social climbers, drinkers and gigolos leap to vivid life. The performance is 50 minutes in duration with no interval.
