Description

This 1 Day Event in Dublin Castle on 13th November 2019 builds on the previous annual conferences from the National Patient Safety Office. 

The Conference theme is “Learning from Investigations and Reviews.” It will provide learning from the international context and showcase innovation and best practice in investigations and reviews for patient safety. Posters from 90 contributors across the healthcare system will be on display.

CONFIRMED KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Mr Manoj Kumar - Consultant Surgeon, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, who will speak about the Scottish experience of mortality reviews.

Professor Craig White - Divisional Clinical Lead within the Directorate of Healthcare Quality and Improvement, Scottish Government, and Honorary Professor at the Institute of Health and Wellbeing at the University of Glasgow, who will talk about leading investigations and duty of candour (open disclosure).

Dr Cheryl Gillis - Consultant Paediatric Intensivist, Glasglow, Scotland - who will talk about the Learning from Excellence initiative.

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

    The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

  • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

    The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
