PLEASE NOTE THIS SHOW IS POSTPONED UNTIL 2021. NEW DATE WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN SEPTEMBER

Making a very welcome return visit to the Oriel Centre, Dundalk Gaol is  Offaly native, Mundy.

Mundy is renowned for his platinum selling hits such as ‘To You I Bestow’ from Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo & Juliet, ‘Mexico’, ‘July’ and of course what has become a classic Irish wedding anthem, his version of Steve Earle’s ‘Galway Girl’.

He has played support to many of his favourite acts which can be considered as heavy weights such as Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Lucinda Williams, Emmylou Harris, R.E.M, White Stripes,The Waterboys and the Pogues.

Mundy proved to be a big hit with American President, Barack Obama  as he performed for him at the White House as part of the St.Patricks Day celebrations and also performed for him when he and his wife Michelle were in Dublin on their first visit.  Proving he has many strings to his bows Mundy also found  the time to compete in Celebrity MasterChef Ireland.

2020 sees Mundy working on a new EP with Producer and old friend, Karl Odlum (Mic Christopher, Gemma Hayes, The Frames, Interference).  He says '“Well, I’ve written a lot of new songs, some that are going down great live and I have more than enough for an album, but i am waiting to meet the right Doctor to do the operation with"

Each time Mundy has performed in the Oriel Centre has been a night of banter and fun so this night is one that should not be missed.

Doors open at 8pm.

We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase except in the event of a cancellation of the performance.
