No stranger to the stages of Dundalk, singer/songwriter Mark Geary will make a very welcome return to The Oriel Centre, Dundalk Gaol on Saturday 5th December 2026. With five studio and three live albums, touring and live performances are in Mark’s lifeblood. His lyrics slice right through to the core revealing a life laid bare of human emotional frailty, failed relationships, tenderness, hurt, making amends, desire and parting.
Mark Geary has featured on lineups with musicians as diverse as Glen Hansard, John Prine, Joe Strummer, Elvis Costello, The Pretenders, Coldplay and The Frames plus extensive headlining tours in Europe, the US and Switzerland. He has composed the full score for three films and has many songs featured in films and TV programmes.
Mark featured on Irish musicians Side 4 Collective the single ‘Last Roll of the Dice’, Side 4 being the brainchild of Drummer Dave Hingerty (The Frames, Kila, Josh Ritter). He recently released his new single ‘Hollow’, the third single from Mark’s forthcoming album ‘In The Time Of Locusts’. Renowned for his sold out shows in Whelans and further afield, this performance from Mark Geary in the Oriel Centre will be the ideal opportunity to experience the stripped back sounds of his lyrics in such an intimate venue.
The last time Mark played in the Oriel Centre, Italian musicians Vianello Riccardo Truma and Caterino Washboard Riccardi joined him on stage, who then further delighted the audience with Fisherman's Blues.
Doors open at 8pm, onstage at 8.30pm. Please note that the bar will be closed during the performance and that the venue does not have credit card facilities.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Mark Geary tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
