There is probably not a village or community in Ireland that hasn’t been affected by suicide.I am sure the mental health of your family, friends & neighbours is paramount and if any person was in difficulty that they would know that there are organisations like Teac Tom and Pieta House to turn to.
As far as the event on May 6th is materialising, we have two strong teams confirmed with a host of All-Stars on both sides.Brian Cody and Derek McGrath are fully behind the event.Michael O Muircheartaigh is coming along as a guest of honour and also other legendry local GAA personalities. It promises to be a great occasion for an important cause. If one person who attends this game gets a lift out of it, or from monies raised, if one person is saved by some counselling, it will all have been worthwhile.
