    Description

    Girls Rock Dublin is BACK

To celebrate the launch of our newest camp, we're having a big party with some of the hottest acts in Ireland... so come on down!

    Special Guests on the night:

    Pillow Queens
Just back from a UK & Irish tour, Pillow Queens are the shining light of Dublin's Alternative DIY bands. Their latest ep ‘State of the State’ showcases the bands penchant for infectious riffs, upbeat indie vibes all intertwined with sprinklings of punk and pop vocals, sung in glorious Irish accents. ‘Favourite’, the lead single from the ep, is a perfect example of a band who have all the elements combined to write catchy sing-along tracks.

    Maria Kelly

Maria spent many years crafting and developing her sound into a delicate blend of atmospheric-alt-folk, reminiscent of Lisa Hannigan, with live performances which are simply captivating. Her debut ep ‘The Things I should’, released in 2017 was received with praise and led to tours with KT Tunstall and James Vincent McMorrow to name a few. 2017 ended with a bang when Maria was voted to perform at the renowned Other Voices festival in Dingle. Her new single ‘Small Talk’ is another stunning example of her songwriting brilliance.

    Sub Motion

Sub Motion deliver a high-energy, no holds barred rock show all wrapped up in the most awesome anthemic songs. Described by Hot Press magazine as “ defiantly pushing against the grain of indie and folk bands in Ireland”, they broke through 2017 with tracks ‘Decoy’ and ‘Headlights’ which led them to a sold out Whelans show as well as festival slots at Electric Picnic, Vantastival and Indiependence. Having recently been snapped up by publishing label Tremelo, Sub Motion look set to join the “Super League of Irish rock bands” - Irish Times.

Now, in 2018, Roe is on an upward trajectory with her new single ‘Wasted. Patient. Thinking’.
