101 Beats Per Minute Vol.2 - Album Launch

CASKRÉ (live)

DAVID KITT (modular & guitar set)

Free 23 track double CD included with admission

From serene, melodic soundscapes to warn, textured techno, 101 Beats Per Minute is a collective of Irish electronic music producers; some veterans of the scene and some new faces. From April 2019, each week a new track was released through Bandcamp accompanied by a new photographic work by artist David Cleary. This album collects all of the 23 tracks into a colourful, genre-twisting journey across the electronic music landscape of Ireland in 2019. This is the second volume from a new crop of music makers.

Each artist was given the brief of composing a piece of music at the tempo of 101bpm and then sharing it amongst the other contributors to create a collective hub for inspiration before release. Each track is anonymously credited to ‘101 Beats Per Minute’ as the artist’s name, the contributions have come from:

Amanda Feery / Blusher / Caskré / Coden / David Donohoe / David Kitt / DEASY / Eomac / Gareth Anton Averill / Kobina / Lair / Lerosa / Linda Buckley / The Natural History Museum / Press Charges / R. Trench / Ripley / ROMY / Seán Clancy / Seán Mac Erlaine / Splitradix / Sunken Foal / The Wicc
